The Woman’s Club of Hermosa Beach is holding their annual Adrienne’s Search for the Children’s Cancer Cure on March 3, 2012 to benefit Pablove Shutterbugs.

We celebrated our inaugural Pablove Shutterbugs graduation on May 14th at the Kopeikin Gallery! Students, families, mentors and friends walked the red carpet to celebrate the kids’ photographs and enjoyed our amazing silent and live auction. Our students’ work was the hit of the show – all prints by the Shutterbugs sold out!

NFL star and Livestrong ambassador Dhani Jones debuted the special Pablove Bowtie for a Cause. Stars Shirley Manson, Jorja Fox, McKaley Miller, Michael Fitzpatrick (of Fitz and the Tantrums) and Nikki Monninger (of the Silversun Pickups) joined over 250 guests to support the program.

KCRW DJ Chris Douridas and Frosty from Dublab entertained the crowd as they wowed over the students’ work and generously donated professional photographs.

We are so grateful to our sponsors and supporters who helped us exceed our expectations for the show. We raised over $36,000 to support the expansion of the Pablove Shutterbugs program. We are recruiting now for students, photography mentors, and program volunteers in Los Angeles and New York City!

True Pablove is the signature family event of The Pablove Foundation. We’ll feature unique arts and craft booths for the kids like pressing tin Milagros, creating Scribble Press bookmarks, customizing tote bags, hand felting necklaces, and decorating cookies. Kids can explore our Valentine Adventure photobooth while Yo Gabba Gabba, Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang, and popular DJ’s entertain the crowd. Attendees will also get a chance to create Valentine cards to brighten the day of inpatient children at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Parents can enjoy our silent auction with items like hotel getaways, a Maya Brenner necklace, and custom portraits by painter Katherine Chiu. Food will be provided by LA’s best eateries like Malo, Lark, Trails Café, and Tavern. Simple Shoes and Kauzbots have signed up for the fun, too!

Join Pablove and host Rachael Harris for a night to remember at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. We’ll be playing Legendary Bingo for fabulous prizes with all proceeds going towards the Pablove Foundation’s mission to fight pediatric cancer and improve the lives of those kids and families dealing with this horrible disease.
